We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead to join our dynamic and rapidly growing company in Leicester. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a small team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of 2 SDRs to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Oversee daily activities, including sales development and lead generation.
  • Assist SDRs in evaluating and qualifying leads by understanding customer needs, budgets and timelines.
  • Support the team in building strong relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the sales process and communicating the company's value proposition.
  • Monitor the team's use of CRM tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions and progress.
  • Provide training and ongoing professional development to the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and set actionable goals for team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in B2B sales, with leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of motivating others.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing data to drive decisions.
