About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistician to join our Clinical Affairs team at Abbott. As a Statistician, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing statistical methodologies to support the development and commercialization of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop statistical methodologies to support clinical trials, including study set-up, programming, and analysis.
  • Perform and report statistical development, evaluation, and verification of stability, calibration, and product release methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and clinical research associates, to develop our pipeline products.
  • Develop and maintain statistical models and algorithms to support data analysis and interpretation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders and prepare reports.
  • Organized and flexible approach to work, with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data and analyses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming experience in SAS or other statistical software.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role.
