About the Role

The Supply Chain Strategy and Performance Excellence department is responsible for providing expert supply chain strategy and operational advice to clients operating in a fast-paced global environment. As a P3M Consultant, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works closely with clients to deliver complex projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver or advise on programmes, projects, and PMOs for clients, and/or manage internal projects and ways of working using P3M and Project Controls tools and techniques.
  • Understand various business environments to tailor P3M strategies effectively.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to undertake and deliver across a variety of P3M and PMO role profiles.
  • Lead, support, and participate fully on project and programme teams or as part of a PMO.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders both within and beyond the client's business using effective communications and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Define the project or task scope, plan, and procurement artefacts, such as Statements of Requirement (SOR), Business Cases, Project Initiation Document, and Project Management Plan.
  • Advise clients on best practice and create and maintain the full scope of P3M artefacts and documents.
  • Ensure that project scope and schedules are met within the specified time and financial constraints using appropriate P3M or generic toolsets.
  • Develop and implement governance structures, while helping to drive meeting structure and discussion.
  • Deliver P3M presentations to facilitate the upskilling of clients or colleagues to enhance their capabilities and share best practice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall P3M processes and delivery.
  • Continuously seek to develop your P3M skills, learning from a range of sources, including formal training, learning from experience, and coaching and mentoring.
  • Conduct analysis, review findings, and present coherent solutions to the client.
  • Curate P3M data, using both internal and external resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1) or higher in a related subject.
  • 2+ years Management Consulting industry experience.
  • One or more P3M certifications (APM, Prince2, Equivalent Agile Qualification e.g Leading SAFe, Lean).
  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams that may be from multiple organizations.
  • Have strong communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly, confidently, to the highest standard, in your written, presentational, and day-to-day work.
  • Persuade and influence people.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of P3M delivery (E.g. Agile, Waterfall, Lean, etc).
  • Manage and control project or task Cost, Time & Scope, Risk, and Change.
  • Find pragmatic solutions to often conflicting constraints.
  • Carefully build, maintain, and manage client relationships.
  • Deliver projects and tasks to outstanding quality requirements, where required assist in the execution of administrative duties on client accounts.
  • Be comfortable developing and delivering P3M coaching to colleagues to help transfer your knowledge and skills, either internally or with clients.
  • Successful candidates must be prepared to apply for, and pass security clearance, before they are appointed.
