Falcon Green Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team on a Waste to Energy Scheme. As the main point of contact between the client and the main contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health and safety programs in accordance with UK health and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Design, deliver, and oversee safety training programs for employees at all levels to increase safety awareness and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with UK health and safety standards and ensure staff compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop, update, and communicate safety policies and procedures to ensure all employees understand and follow safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, incidents, inspections, and training programs.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Diploma is preferred but a General Certificate won't be overlooked.
- In-depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
