Key Responsibilities:- Source high-quality spares and parts in a cost-effective manner for our fleet.
- Monitor and ensure that ships' masters and chief engineers process requisitions and orders according to our supply procedure.
- Provide purchasing guidance, high-risk ports, and approved local ship chandlers to vessels.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping instructions for connecting orders to vessels.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback and evaluation.
- Strong market awareness and understanding of maritime supply chain components, regulations, and market conditions.
- Commercial aptitude and ability to negotiate contracts.
- Ability to deliver quality and meet deadlines.
- Procurement or marine engineering degree or equivalent.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply or equivalent professional body.
