Overview:
The Clinical Trials Pharmacy Service at Barts Health has experienced substantial growth and investment in recent years. Our dynamic team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff oversees a diverse and expanding array of both commercial and non-commercial clinical trials.

Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to enhance their expertise across multiple locations, engaging with a broad spectrum of trials at one of the leading trusts for commercial trial recruitment in the UK.

Team Management:
You will lead a dedicated trials team at the Royal London Hospital and manage a portfolio of trials, ensuring effective setup and monitoring.

Continuous Improvement:
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will participate in ongoing improvement initiatives related to service development. This role offers opportunities to mentor junior staff, refine your managerial capabilities, and deepen your regulatory knowledge.

Facility Enhancements:
Significant advancements are underway, including the establishment of a state-of-the-art Clinical Research Facility at the Royal London Hospital, featuring a dedicated satellite trials pharmacy and an expansion into a greater number of Advanced Therapy Investigational Medicinal Products (ATIMP) trials.

Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will possess experience in clinical trials, with a solid understanding of Good Clinical Practice. Experience in clinical pharmacy and management is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be organized, proactive, and capable of working both collaboratively and independently. A positive attitude is essential, and we prioritize personal attributes, providing training for the right individual.
