Turner Lovell is seeking a skilled HV Wireperson to join our team of electrical installation specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of electrical equipment on medium and high-voltage renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and installation of electrical equipment on medium and high-voltage renewable energy projects
- Cable glanding and terminating
- Installation of control and protection relay panels
- Understanding of red and green and line diagrams to implement into scope of work
- Installation of LV/HV switchgear, multi-core cables, and associated electrical equipment
- Attending toolbox talks and actively contributing where required
- Tickets required for the position: CCNSG/CSCS - Safety Passport, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, National Grid Authorisations, IPAF 3a & 3b
- Panel Experience
- Experience working on a project in a H&S critical environment
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn, communicate, and uphold SHEQ/other required standards, while on site
- Working experience with current wiring regulations and interpreting engineering line diagrams
- Strong HV Substation experience (132kV - 400kV)
