Job Description:

Cherrygrove Nursery is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Lunch Time Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the practitioners with the children's daily routines across the lunch period.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, promoting these daily in every routine.
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 2/Level 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English - essential.
  • Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
