Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at BFV Service GmbH. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' building services mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and undertake all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines and reactive attendances across a broad spectrum of building services mechanical and electrical equipment at all client sites.
  • Ensure that all concept task instructions and records are completed and returned to the call centre, and that all site log book records are updated and maintained in accordance with standard company practices.
  • Provide electrical and mechanical mobile services to our customers, both reactive and maintenance, and receive electronically PPM instructions from the concept system.
  • Ensure all maintenance consumables are available and arrange replenishment of all items to establish agreed stock levels.
  • Complete all electronic and paper records, ensuring an accurate site log book record of all works remains on site for the client's information and approval.
  • Undertake diagnostic analysis and visual condition inspections of installed equipment, submitting written reports of any items that may jeopardise reliability.
  • Enter into dialogue with the client's representative to ensure there are no outstanding issues and to ensure the overall quality of service delivery.
  • Carry out general maintenance and good housekeeping practices, and plant room cleaning, to maximise the life expectancy of all installed equipment.
  • Participate in health and safety codes of safe working and other environmental issues, ensuring total compliance with Inviron's health, safety and environmental policy.
  • Report any omissions or risks that may compromise a safe working environment, and make recommendations to the area supervisor on matters concerning continuous improvement and adding value.
  • Attend to all reasonable emergency call-out requests, maintaining good communications with the client on the progress of all outstanding works.
