Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team as an Audit and Accounts Senior. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audit and accounts services to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounts, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work to clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients, predominantly small limited companies
  • Conducting audits of financial statements from planning through to completion
  • Managing juniors, including assigning, overseeing and reviewing work
  • Providing VAT returns, management accounts and tax computations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • ACA / ICAEW or ACCA qualification with previous practice experience in accounts, audit and taxation
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and accounts and audit software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, CaseWare etc)
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work accurately with good levels of attention to detail
  • Constantly up to date with adaptations in legislation and compliance requirements
