The Role:

We are in search of an experienced and driven Commercial Insurance Consultant to propel the business forward. In this position, you will manage and enhance a portfolio of SME clients, offering expert guidance and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with both new and existing SME clients
  • Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and propose customized insurance solutions
  • Engage in negotiations with insurers to secure optimal terms and pricing for clients
  • Draft and present insurance proposals to clients
  • Oversee policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims assistance
  • Remain informed about industry trends, products, and regulatory updates
  • Contribute to the brokerage's growth strategies and business development efforts

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Insurance Consultant, ideally with a focus on SMEs
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance landscape
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities
  • Capability to cultivate and sustain client relationships
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • CII qualifications (Cert CII or Dip CII) are preferred
