Job Opportunity - Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Specialist

The successful Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Specialist will be responsible for analyzing incoming alerts and supporting data related to the equipment, as well as advising clients and partners to improve equipment efficiency while reducing operating costs. In this role, you will monitor and diagnose errors related to the elements of condition monitoring.

  • Perform remote monitoring of equipment alerts for clients' equipment fleet, as well as remote diagnostics of errors.
  • Communicate and collaborate with technical support teams and field technicians.
  • Continuously build and maintain a knowledge database.
  • Gather knowledge and information from the frontlines and assist them in successfully adopting new digital methods and innovative remote maintenance.
  • Provide valuable input to the frontlines to create action item recommendations for improving equipment performance.
  • Provide input and learnings to the data science team responsible for creating and maintaining predictive algorithms.
  • Aggregate, correlate, and analyze equipment performance and condition data.

To be successful in this role of Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Specialist, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience in:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, system engineering, sustainability, or a similar field.
  • Alternatively: Very strong experience and background in similar fields and roles, particularly in maintenance services in industrial mechanical engineering equipment.
  • Strong experience in heavy machinery maintenance diagnostics and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of reading and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience working in control rooms, monitoring centers, or NOC is an advantage.
