Senior Economic Research Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economic Research Specialist to join our team at Homes England. As a key member of our Research and Analysis function, you will play a crucial part in supporting our wider analytical function, delivering high-quality research and analysis to inform our decision making and strategy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team's economic and housing market forecasting capabilities, embedding these within the Agency to provide scenario planning across our portfolio.
- Deliver the Agency's regular programme of market intelligence, analysing the latest data on the housing market and economy, and translating this into actionable insight for colleagues.
- Lead delivery of major bespoke research and analysis studies on specific housing market and economic topics, informing delivery and strategy development.
- Line manage junior members of the Research and Analysis team, supporting the wider team to complete their outputs to the highest standard.
- Procure and contract manage major research and analysis studies requiring independent and/or expert inputs.
