- Facilitate the informed consent process, ensuring participants understand the research and its implications.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Provide expert support to colleagues, including training and mentoring, to ensure the smooth running of research studies.
- Monitor and report on research study progress, identifying barriers to recruitment and implementing action plans.
- Ensure effective communication systems are in place, facilitating timely information flows to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including study documentation and trial files.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for staff and researchers, promoting an active and effective research culture.
