Position: English Language Instructor

Overview:

The British Council is a renowned leader in delivering English language education in Egypt and throughout the Arabic-speaking region. As an English Language Instructor, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality English language instruction to a diverse range of learners. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the educational advancement and personal development of individuals in a supportive and engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement 25 hours of customized English language instruction
  • Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to improve course materials
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Adhere to safeguarding and policy regulations

Required Qualifications:

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-certification teaching experience
  • Experience teaching both adults and young learners
  • Eligibility to work in the country

Compensation & Benefits:

For non-Egyptian candidates: A local salary of 14,923 EGP per month, accompanied by additional benefits such as housing allowance and medical insurance. For Egyptian residents, the local salary remains 14,923 EGP per month with similar benefits.
