Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Manager to independently manage a diverse portfolio of accounting clients, completing year-end and management accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of varied accounts clients, providing expert accounting services and ensuring timely completion of financial tasks.
- Prepare year-end and management accounts, corporation and personal tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Liaise with clients directly to answer financial queries, review accounts, and provide guidance on financial matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and excellence in financial services.
Requirements
- ACCA / ACA qualified or equivalent experience in accounting and taxation.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice, with a strong background in accounting and taxation.
- Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, completing accounts preparation and associated tax work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide expert advice.
