Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable manufacturing company in Portadown. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of invoices, employee expense claims, and supplier statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Logging of invoices received into the business
- Review and check employee expense claims
- Complete Supplier Statement Checks on a monthly basis
- Prepare the monthly payment run
- Resolve any AP queries
- Complete relevant Government Returns & Statistical Returns
- Analysis of financial information, e.g., cost analysis
- Place purchase orders
- Work alongside the payroll department to aid in the processing of payrolls
- 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English (or equivalent)
- 2 years' experience in accounts payable
- Experience working with an ERP System (desirable)
- IT literate to include Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
