About the Role:
The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join the finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for goods and services received.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
