Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Home Manager to join our team at Chroma Recruitment. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a residential elderly care home, providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive excellent care and support.
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our residents.
- Manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide the highest level of care.
- Ensure that the care home is run in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 5 (or working towards)
- Experience of working in a care home environment, preferably with a background in dementia care.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
