Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (Controls - Simulation) to join our Vehicle Modelling & Control Integration team. As a key member of our Simulation family, you'll work on developing effective interfaces to vehicle models, enhancing the Oxa Simulator, and collaborating with data, infrastructure, and fleet teams to refine the quality of the simulator model component.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and develop interfaces to vehicle models in collaboration with the Simulation family and VMCI team.
  • Develop the Oxa Simulator to represent vehicle behavior accurately, including current and potential future vehicles.
  • Work with data, infrastructure, and fleet teams to develop systems for updating, measuring, and refining the quality of the simulator model component.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a related field (Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics) is desired.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be acceptable with appropriate experience.
  • Experience with C++ algorithm development and deployment.
  • Experience with real-time simulation of vehicle systems.
  • A background in vehicle dynamics and control.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for vehicle dynamics applications.
  • Experience working with one or more third-party simulation or physics engine (e.g., CARLA, CarSim, CarMaker, Bullet, PhysX).
  • Proven agility in fast-changing environments.
