Quality and Compliance Manager

Our client, a leading electronics manufacturing business based in Hartlepool, is seeking an experienced and proactive Quality and Compliance Manager to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain device specifications and reliability reports.
  2. Conduct thorough sub-con failure analysis and prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports.
  3. Recommend alternative devices to customers and distributors for new design and replacement.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to customers and distributors on product-related enquiries.
  5. Handle customer and distributor quality complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Communicate effectively with the manufacturing facility on customer technical enquiries and quality complaints.
  7. Deliver technical information and training to customers and distributors.
  8. Respond to customers on environmental and compliance queries, including:
    1. RoHS
    2. REACh
    3. POPs
    4. TSCA_PBT
    5. California Prop65
    6. Conflict Minerals (CMRT_EMRT)
    7. US-PFAS
    8. EU-PFAS
    9. Precious metals
    10. REE
    11. China RoHS
    12. GDPR
    13. Iron Steel Russia Sanctions
    14. Long-term EU Declarations
  9. Prepare and coordinate material declaration sheets and paperwork with subcontractors.
  10. Manage compliance certificates, including:
    1. VDE Certifications
    2. UL Recognised product
    3. CE
  11. Coordinate compliance data sheets between subcontractors and internal technicians, and update data sheets as required.
  12. Support with ESG initiatives.
  13. Provide general support, including:
    1. Providing distributors with product information.
    2. Website updates - add/remove distributors, update data sheets, and add new parts.
    3. Assisting with the introduction of new parts.
