Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at KPMG-UnitedKingdom. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit and tax reporting engagements, managing teams, and developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the tax specialist in audit and tax reporting engagements, leading teams on a wide variety of clients in the National Markets portfolio, listed and large private companies;
- Lead by example in preparing and reviewing audit documentation, ensuring you are up to date with current requirements;
- Act as key intermediary between audit and tax department, assisting with scoping and delivery of audits by managing specialist input, transfer pricing;
- Develop and maintain client relationships across a portfolio of clients;
- Develop and maintain internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments;
- Act as a specialist in the tax department, assisting colleagues with technical tax accounting queries on tax reporting and compliance engagements and undertaking specialist tax advisory work such as GAAP conversion projects;
- Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff;
- Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team.
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified;
- Experience of tax reporting requirements (IFRS and FRS102), compliance and good understanding of the UK tax regime;
- Working knowledge of US GAAP (desirable but not required);
- Project management/co-ordination skills and experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills;
- Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear;
- Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work. Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work;
