About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Professional to provide live-in care services to our clients in Bristol. As a Live In Care Professional, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with Motor Neurones Disease, promoting their quality of life, and providing a range of services to enhance their independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients with Motor Neurones Disease, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Manage client medication, maintain accurate records, and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the care sector, preferably with Motor Neurones Disease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Manual handling training and experience with using equipment such as ceiling track hoists and electric wheelchairs.
