About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electrical systems for industrial and off-road applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and off-road applications
  • Work closely with mechanical design engineers to update existing designs
  • Support the technical author in creating technical documentation
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials for electrical components
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering
  • Experience in electrical design and product development
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical)
  • Knowledge of AC and DC power systems, generator control, and PLC software
  • Experience with electrical component selection methods
  • Preferred experience in off-road, rail, EV, or heavy platform product design
