About this Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Security Risk Specialist to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development of our risk specialist centre of excellence.

As a Senior Security Risk Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing expert advice on risk decisions to senior leaders and risk owners across the Group. You'll work closely with our risk owners and control owners to ensure robust risk management practices are in place, aligned with our Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).

You'll have a deep understanding of current technology and its application in risk management. You'll be passionate about disrupting the norm to achieve the best possible customer and staff experience. You'll have a breadth and depth of knowledge in current tech, and you'll be able to interpret new operational risk regulation, emerging risks, and technology innovations with foresight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on risk decisions to senior leaders and risk owners across the Group.
  • Support the development of our risk specialist centre of excellence.
  • Work closely with risk owners and control owners to ensure robust risk management practices are in place.
  • Interpret new operational risk regulation, emerging risks, and technology innovations with foresight.
  • Provide thought leadership, insight, and oversight to support the implementation of the second line of defence.

What You'll Need

  • Detailed knowledge of key security risks facing a financial services group.
  • Proven ability to assess and manage security risk and threats.
  • Experience in information, cyber, and physical security.
  • Deep understanding of the latest Operational Risk frameworks and technology.
  • Ability to interpret new operational risk regulation, emerging risks, and technology innovations with foresight.
