ROLE OVERVIEW


As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will report directly to the Hygiene Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the Hygiene department operates smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Hygiene team and adhering to established cleaning protocols.
  • Utilizing cleaning agents responsibly to minimize waste.
  • Ensuring all safety gear is utilized correctly and consistently.
  • Planning and overseeing deep cleaning schedules, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Implementing Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Training Hygiene Operatives to perform their tasks safely and effectively.
  • Onboarding new staff members with a focus on cleaning techniques and chemical safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set with a proven background in the food sector, particularly in hygiene management. Experience in leading or supervising a team within the food industry is essential, along with a solid understanding of Food and Hygiene policies.
