MFL Instructor

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MFL Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our education team, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert language instruction to students, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create and implement engaging and effective MFL lessons that address the unique needs of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to understand the specific needs of the students and develop tailored MFL lesson plans.
• Implement and adapt MFL lesson plans to support the students' individual learning requirements, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one and group instruction to students during classroom activities and lessons, fostering positive relationships and promoting student engagement.
• Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies tailored to the students' needs, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system, promoting student well-being and success.
• Support the overall positive and inclusive atmosphere of the school, promoting a culture of excellence and student achievement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an educational setting, especially in providing support to students in MFL studies, is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
• Proficiency in one or more modern foreign languages, with a strong understanding of language instruction and pedagogy.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individual student success, with a commitment to promoting student well-being and achievement.
• Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
