Lead LNG Financial Trader

We are seeking an experienced Lead LNG Financial Trader to become a vital member of our innovative trading team at Shell. This position presents a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a thriving trading organization.

Position Overview:

  • Facilitate transactions to meet the demands of various trading desks for derivatives while ensuring optimal trade execution.
  • Provide guidance to LNG Trading desks regarding the management of overall price exposure risks.
  • Formulate proprietary trading methodologies aimed at achieving significant returns on risk.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse array of trading partners.
  • Assist in the training and development of the upcoming generation of financial traders within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the field of derivatives trading.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management instruments and strategies.
  • Strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • High level of numerical proficiency coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge in at least one of the following areas: JKM, Crude, European Gas, or US Gas.
