Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Waste Collection Vehicle Operators to join our team. This role involves driving LGV vehicles for the collection of waste and recyclables, ensuring a clean and sustainable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the company's waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to pre-planned routes and risk assessment protocols.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to confirm it is in optimal working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues and complete necessary documentation to maintain compliance with transport regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of waste materials as required, depending on the collection schedule.
  • Ensure the vehicle is refueled and prepared for subsequent use.

Requirements:

  • Valid LGV licence (minimum class 2).
  • Full driving licence to operate various vehicle types.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to eco-friendly practices and efficient driving.
