About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home not Hospital. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 360-degree support to an individual with autism and a learning disability, enabling them to live a fulfilling and independent life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual, promoting their well-being and quality of life.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support the individual in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with family and friends.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities and hobbies that promote social interaction and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's support network to ensure a seamless and effective support plan.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car.
