Maintenance Supervisor Opportunity

FT Recruitment is currently working with one of the UK's leading recycling and waste management companies to find an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work on a night shift in a heavy engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and process operators.
  2. Monitor and inspect maintenance work in accordance with planned maintenance systems.
  3. Assist in controlling maintenance and site service sub-contractors.
  4. Control site maintenance stock, plan, issue parts, and monitor departmental expenditure.
  5. Drive continuous improvement in maintenance-related tasks, including root cause analysis and identifying defect trends.
  6. Monitor staff attendance, lateness, and performance issues, and challenge where necessary.
  7. Ensure operational and noise management plans are followed.
  8. Conduct investigations in line with disciplinary and health & safety policies.
Requirements:

Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
