Trainee AV Engineer (Marine) - Hertfordshire

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (OTE £25K - £40K)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marine AV Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Trainee AV Engineer (Marine), you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of AV systems on high-end superyachts throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and building AV racks in our Hertfordshire warehouse and off-site
  • Assisting senior engineers with the installation and configuration of AV systems
  • Working on bespoke projects for high-end superyachts and occasional residential projects
  • Learning to troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment, ensuring high performance
  • Supporting the team on-site for marine installations, often in unique and luxury environments
  • Liaising with clients to ensure projects meet their specific requirements

Requirements:

  • A passion for technology and innovation in AV
  • Basic knowledge or a strong interest in audio-visual systems
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Valid passport
  • A willingness to travel and work away from home at short notice and on a regular basis

Package Details:

  • A salary ranging between £25K- £30K depending on experience
  • 1.5X overtime rates - most engineers gain an extra 20-30% of their annual salary in overtime
  • All expenses covered and overnight allowance provided for nights away
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Statutory pension
  • Tools
