Job Summary:

The Estates Department at South Staffordshire College is seeking a Part Time Cleaner to join their cleaning team to carry out duties within the Torc campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the campus, meeting agreed Service Level Standards, and performing various cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the campus
  • Meet agreed Service Level Standards
  • Dust and polish surfaces
  • Mop and buff floors
  • Vacuum and clean carpets
  • Clean toilets, showers, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Carry out cleaning inspections
  • Conduct stock taking and ordering of cleaning materials

Requirements:

  • Experience of commercial/domestic cleaning is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
