The Lead Nurse for Unscheduled Care is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care to patients, families, and carers across our three sites. This position requires a professional and motivated individual with a proven track record of management and experience working within Unscheduled Care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery of high-quality care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families, and carers.
- Facilitate a broad team approach, communicate effectively, and deliver on the annual divisional strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the Head of Unscheduled Care and Clinical Director to ensure that urgent and emergency services within their area of responsibility meet quality standards and achieve targets set out in the Divisional Business Plan.
- Good current knowledge in the area of Unscheduled Care and proactive in relation to external regulatory standards, such as the Care Quality Commission and current best practice in urgent and emergency care.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
