About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead our electrical design activities and ensure the successful execution of projects in the renewable energy sector.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and a proven track record of supervising and coordinating electrical design activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical design activities, ensuring adherence to standards, safety protocols, and project requirements.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality electrical designs for various projects.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of electrical design tasks, including resource allocation and document control.
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrician or Certificate III in Electrotechnology, with a minimum of 5 years' experience or a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Automation (SCADA and PLC Controls), VSD's, and Motor/Pump Control.
  • Hold an unrestricted and current driver's licence.
  • Ability to travel intrastate, interstate, or internationally if required.
