Job Title: HSSE Officer - Health, Safety, Security & Environmental Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSSE Officer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and supporting our health, safety, and environmental risk management strategy across our client accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with our management systems and applicable regulations.
  • Promote a culture of positive health and safety awareness among employees and contractors.
  • Be a visible onsite safety presence to address unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Support the site facilities teams by providing on-site HSSE guidance.
  • Support the investigation of any reported incidents.
  • Ensure suitable and sufficient risk assessments are in place and trained out.
  • Review the documented safe systems of work to ensure they are suitable and being followed by all site teams.
  • Ensure records are retained to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all services and activities are provided in accordance with current legislation, client guidelines, and company process and policy.
  • Continually look for and suggest ways to improve the service we provide to the wider business.
  • Authority to stop work in progress if deemed unsafe.
  • Identification of HSSE risks and suitable corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate the JLL Core Values within the business at all times.

Requirements:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • NEBOSH Certificate (desired)
  • Manual Handling trainer (desired)
  • Facilities Management based experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrate an open communicative style, down-to-earth approach.
  • Behavioural Safety approach rather than rules-based (supportive not punishing)
  • Team player with a Can-Do attitude. Here to help resolve any HSSE concern.
