The role of the Payroll Officer is to provide a full and thorough payroll service to our clients, ensuring all allocated payrolls are produced in accordance with agreed procedures and performance indicators.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Collect and collate authorised data from the client relating to payroll processing.
- Calculate and process all statutory information relating to clients employees.
- Run the Gross to Net report, ensuring full checks are completed, investigate and correct queries resulting from validation reports, thereby ensuring errors are minimised before going to BACS.
- Prepare Maternity Schedules ensuring correct Terms and Conditions as supplied by client.
- Dispatch accurate draft payroll reports on time to all clients, ensuring this is communicated to each client.
- The ideal candidate will have payroll processing experience.
- iTrent Payroll Experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and a collaborative team worker is essential.
- Previous experience of working in a bureau setting will be beneficial but not essential.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Process oriented with the ability to see a task through to completion.
- A team player who works effectively with others.
- Generous annual leave allowance of 36 days (28+8 bank holidays) +1 for every year of service (up to a maximum of 5)

9.00 am pm (Monday - Friday) can be flexi on start in finish time. This is a hybrid role as you will need to be able to work at home and in the office based in Milton Keynes. You will be required to come into the office daily for at least the first 4 weeks, and at least twice every week after that.
