Job Description

Job Title: Senior Group Accounting Manager

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Accounting Manager to join our team at First 2 Recruit. As a Senior Group Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the corporation tax affairs of a diverse client portfolio.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax compliance and planning, with experience in managing large groups, partnerships, non-resident landlords, and non-resident capital gains tax. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the corporation tax affairs of a diverse client portfolio
  • Providing tax planning advice to clients
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of the tax team
  • Working closely with the Partners on stand-alone tax advisory projects

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax projects, including group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D tax credits, and s455 tax planning. You will also be responsible for tax accounting and will work closely with the Partners on stand-alone tax advisory projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • CTA and/or CA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Similar experience in a Senior Management level position
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
