As a Clinical Psychosis Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing a caseload of individuals with psychosis, providing evidence-based interventions and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage a caseload of individuals with psychosis, providing evidence-based interventions and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, taking into account the individual's physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work closely with families and carers to provide support and education, promoting a holistic approach to care.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development of care plans and ensuring seamless communication between team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychosis care, applying this knowledge to inform your practice and improve outcomes for service users.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychosis Specialist who has:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working with individuals with psychosis, preferably in a community or inpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for psychosis, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family-focused therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychosis care.
