Year 5 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Year 5 Teacher to join our progressive 1-form entry Primary School in Waltham Forest, North London. This is a full-time, long-term Maternity Cover opportunity, open to ECTs and experienced Teachers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 5 pupils and contributing to the school's vibrant and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher who can inspire and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Year 5 pupils in accordance with the school's schemes of work and National Curriculum
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way
  • Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the inclusion team
  • Set challenging targets for pupil attainment levels
  • Be an exemplar teacher and share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils
