Job Title: Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading our tax function and providing strategic guidance to our clients.

About the Role
  • Manage a team of tax accountants and provide guidance on tax advisory and planning services.
  • Work closely with Partners to develop and implement tax strategies for corporate and personal clients.
  • Review and prepare corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Support advisory work with clients and provide training and development for colleagues.
  • Advising on various tax due diligence exercises, demergers, acquisitions, growth shares, reconstructions, IHT and other specialist tax issues.
  • International and non-dom tax support and advice.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant
  • Ideally CTA qualified but ACA, ACCA, CA qualification without CTA would be considered.
  • Technically proficient, with tax advisory and planning experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with good people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
