We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the Urgent Treatment Unit (QMC). As an autonomous practitioner and clinical leader, you will provide complete care of patients with undifferentiated needs, ensuring appropriate prioritisation, diagnosis and clinical management, prescribing independently and performing clinical procedures without direct supervision.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and prioritise patients' clinical needs in accordance with NEMS policies and guidelines.
- Undertake consultations with patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, practising autonomous skills in history taking, physical examination, problem-solving and clinical decision-making, to establish a diagnosis and management plan.
- Prescribe independently in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the appropriate policy and guidance.
- Direct others in the clinical team to provide care in a safe effective manner in accordance with the appropriate policy and guidance.
