We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to oversee our IT function at Kitwave Wholesale Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and supporting our business objectives.

Kitwave Wholesale Group is a leading independent wholesaler of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), focusing on ambient, chilled, and frozen goods including confectionery, crisps & snacks, soft drinks, grocery, fresh fruit & vegetables, vending products, alcohol, and tobacco. The business serves independent retail, wholesale, national retail, vending, and foodservice markets, with approximately 35,000 customers across 30+ nationwide depots. Kitwave operates with a fleet of around 550+ delivery vehicles. With over 1,500 employees, the company is committed to quality and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Administer and support VMware environments, including virtual machines and storage.
- Work through an IT infrastructure standardisation programme.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to ensure the organisation remains competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
