Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Capability Lead to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business, you will play a critical role in developing and leading a complex Test Capability programme from strategy into implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the Test Capability programme, ensuring alignment with the overall GCAP and internal engineering roadmaps.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather inputs and capture Test Capability needs in support of the wider programme's Test & Evaluation plans.
  • Represent Leonardo as an SME and provide support to industry engagement across GCAP on Test Capability Strategy topics.
  • Build a team to turn the Test Capability roadmap into reality, implementing and delivering Test Capabilities into GCAP using a systematic approach.
  • Develop and deliver the Test Capability roadmap to quality, budget, and schedule, in line with the wider programme schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a Science / Technology / Engineering / Maths discipline or similar experience.
  • Good level of Systems Engineering practitioner capability across the entire lifecycle.
  • Enthusiasm to take on new challenges and passion for knowledge sharing and developing others.
  • Ability to develop close relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to understand, interpret, and influence current and future user needs and requirements.
  • Effective and flexible communicator, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
