About the Role

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our estates team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and condition of our properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs to the fabric of a building, including electrical and plumbing work.
  • Understand and maintain electrical distribution systems, ensuring safe repair of electrical installations.
  • Perform general repairs and reactive maintenance, including decorating and painting.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks to prevent major damage and minimize reactive intervention.
  • Record and report information accurately, either internally or externally.
Requirements
  • Level 3 vocational qualification in carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Trained in the use of hardware tools and electrical equipment.
  • Basic building knowledge and experience in maintenance and repairs in properties or construction environments.
