About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assist with community activities, outings, and social events to promote social interaction and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behavior is preferred but not essential.
  • Commitment to undertaking all pre-employment training and ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (for community-based work).
