Junior CNC Machinist / Toolmaker

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Junior CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their team in Mansfield. As a key member of the precision engineering team, you will be responsible for producing tools using CNC machines in accordance with specifications to ensure a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming and setting up CNC machines to meet production requirements
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate tool production
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machine performance and programming to minimize downtime
  • Working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm with opportunities for overtime
Requirements:
  • Aspiring CNC Operator or similar with a strong desire to learn CNC milling, lathes, grinding, and turning
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Commutable to Mansfield with a reliable means of transportation
