Job Title: Business Continuity Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Specialist to join our team at eTeam. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations and maintaining the resilience of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Business Continuity programme aligned to ISO22301 standards, ensuring the organization's ability to respond to and recover from disruptions.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and threats to the organization's continuity, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key business processes and develop plans to ensure their continuity.
  • Conduct regular business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans, procedures, and policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on business continuity best practices and procedures.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions to ensure staff are equipped to respond to business continuity incidents.
  • Monitor and report on business continuity performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business continuity programmes in a corporate or highly regulated environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting business impact analyses, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of ISO22301 standards and industry best practices in business continuity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Nuclear industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Security Assessment Principles for the Civil Nuclear Industry and HMG Security functional standards.
  • Experience in supporting the development and delivery of resilience/business continuity training and exercising programmes.
  • Knowledge of the approach to the assessment of cyber resilience standards within the supply chain.
  • Membership of a professional institute or industry body.
  • Diploma/Certificate in Business Continuity Management or Enterprise Resilience.
