Senior Gameplay Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our Total War team as a key member of the code team. As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and building new gameplay systems, collaborating with the wider development team, and contributing to technical design in areas such as AI, UI, and gameplay.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build new gameplay systems, including AI, UI, and gameplay features
- Collaborate with the wider development team to ensure seamless integration of new systems
- Contribute to technical design and architecture of the game
- Work closely with peers to improve existing gameplay and craft new features
- Build and maintain well-engineered code with high levels of stability and performance
- Strong C++ or C# programming skillset, with knowledge of the latest language features
- Experience of a complete game development lifecycle from pre-production, through to post-release support
- Games industry experience with a proven track record in a comparable role
- Passion and interest in games and game development
- Broad gaming experience and a sense for good game design
