Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Worker to join our team in East London. The successful candidate will provide domiciliary care to our clients with spinal injuries, supporting them to engage in community-based activities and promoting their independence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to clients with spinal injuries, including support with daily living tasks and promoting independence.
  • Assist clients with community-based activities, such as shopping and social events.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
  • Adhere to Claimont Health LTD's policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection.

Requirements

  • 1 year or more experience as a Complex Care Support Worker.
  • Highly interested in sports/fitness.
  • Flexibility, maturity, independence, and high professional standards.
  • Commitment to delivering client-specific care.
  • Adaptable approach to support clients and family members.
  • Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting.

Person Specification

  • NVQ level 3 related subjects.
  • NVQ level 4 related subjects.
  • Nursery nurse qualification or similar.
  • Diploma in relevant health/social subject.

Working Hours

  • Monday and Tuesday: 10:30am - 2:30pm.
  • Wednesday: 9:30am - 2:30pm.
  • Thursday: 12:30pm - 5:30pm.

Requirements

  • UK driving license and access to a car.
